Bullying regimes around the world think they can silence bloggers by muzzling them. But they should think again, because bloggers are here to stay.

At least that is the official line I read here, where our own Bahrain-based star blogger Haitham Sabbah is quoted!

"Blogging anonymously helped many to criticize their society, culture, politicians, system, government, taboos, etc., something they never got the chance to do before," Haitham Sabbah, host of Bahrain-based Sabbah's Blog told me in an e-mail interview.
