Don't worry about the bug Ammar. I am sure it is playing with it's friends in the garden now.
It looks like a ladybird. It's good that you didn't kill it, according to Wikepedia some people consider seeing them or having them land on one's body to be a sign of good luck to come, and that killing them presages bad luck :)
