Personally I do not trust Amnesty Intl. They could give two craps. With everything that's going on in the world, and I am eyeballing the genocide over the past few years, AI has done nada to stop it.
Women have to organize and put a stop to the violence against them. They should not count on AI.

I wish the religious leaders would pay more attention to this real problem than how to brush your teeth!

I think women all women should stand up for their rights wherever they are. And while i respect religious leaders, sometimes what we really need are scholars, leaaders who are able to transcend beyond the critics and logic game players. Scholars like Hamza Yusuf of USA, Merve Kavachi of Turkey and Tariq Ramadan.
