the futility of life in wonderland...

Not a great image... a horrific accident which made my sensitive tummy turn. The car was actually cut into half. A woman driver. She was hurt. Her three-year-old son was hurled out of the car. He died instantly.

Accidents like this leave me speechless. Of course the police won't comment. Was the boy jumping up and down on the front seat or was he where he should have been, buckled up at the back?

I don't have the answer...but whenever accidents like these happen, I roll my eyes and wonder.. why do those people make children. It is so easy. Cats and dogs make children on the street. I even witnessed two bloddy buzzing annoying flies making out the other day. Everyone is for a great fuck.. but you don't bring children and throw them in the fire with your own hands.

I am not sure about the facts here. I may be jumping to the wrong conclusion. But who could blame a silly girl for being so furious at such blatant carelessness and a total lack of concern for a life brought out to this world for a reason.

People are not very educated in road safety. Here you still find people who allow their children to sit on their laps while driving or sleep over the back seat by the back window

you are all so right here..
it is sad.. but what breaks my heart is that this amounts to child abuse and is being practised everyday.

when i take my nieces and nephews out with me (they aren't even my children).. I really feel the burden of responsibility weighing me down.

I make sure they are sat on the back seat. that they child lock whatever is in place, and behold if one of them dares stand up while i am driving.

this is all part of educating and conditioning children to respects rules, which are placed FOR A CHANGE, with their safety and well being in mind!

but how many people really want to have silly aunts like me ;)

Here in the US there are laws requiring children of certain ages and sizes to be carried in approved children's seats in cars. It is a great idea.

I feel sorry for the parents of children who die in such a way. They certainly know they bare a lot of the blame for their deaths.

everywhere there are laws about this abu sinan.. but it is difficult to draft laws on common sense for people to adhere to...

some things cannot be enforced..like i remember when the seatbelt law was enacted, some brainfarter (this is MY word MAHMOOD) said that it was unIslamic and that women should be banned from wearing seatbelts because it emphasised their bodies... what are they supposed to do? leave their boobies at home when they go out?

i dont know .. it's one brain fart after the other .. now this brain fart is Mahmood's word ;)

Some people just do not think that it can happen to you. But it can and might. Death is closer to any of us than our own jugular. Risk your own life, but dont play with others.

I remember an incident in Arizona where a grandmother was holding her new born grandchild when they were involved in an accident. Everyone in the car had minor injuries, the baby was killed.

Everyone had minor injuries but have mental scars they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

I have a new born, I cannot even imagine it.
