Excuse me?

A committee to protect Ba7ranis?

Can you be a little bit more specific: Do you mean a committee to protect the Shia?

You see, Ba7ranis are very divided and so are the Shia. This really defies the purpose because Shia means "Group" in Arabic but it has come to mean terrorist and second-class citizen nowadays.

In Bahrain, there are Manama Baharna (which are also divided into smaller groups and clans) and then there are the 7alayel and let's not forget the 3jam, who are also Shia. Also, there are the Ba7arna of Muharraq and the 3jam of Muharraq and then there are ...

You see... first you need to set up a committee to protect the Ba7arna from themselves...

Dear Anon,
Around 30 people turned up at the demo today...
They apparently ran out of tape too.

Lol.. thanks for the cultural and demographical breakdown SBG but it was actually an honest mistake it was supposed to say "Bahrainis". lol.. typos sometimes get one into trouble.. :)

But yes I do agree within each sect not just the Shiites there are sub-sects that's a reality in all cultures world wide. You pointed out the Shiite population. But all the over sects in Bahrain have it including the Sunnis who are split by class and level of devotion to the government as well as social rank. So, you can see that the Shiites are not alone. (Not that you needed anyone to tell you that, but just thought I'd point that out).

Aalman,
These are some of the realities of life, I suppose.
"Divide and rule" means anything?
