Give this little shits an inch and they take a bloody mile. Oh yes, where were the bloody do gooders when my Sri Lankan ran off with all my money, jewellry and anything else he could lay his hands on. Yes you might say I had too much, no I don't bloody well think so, I worked hard for whatever I had - that he bunked off with.

I have had female maids since and they take the piss, if you are nice to them they are off like a bloody shot.

A certain amount of discipline needs to be levied....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9291546.post-1103549768875705772004-12-20T16:36:00.000+03:002004-12-20T16:36:00.000+03:00Thanks for highlighting these important points,.. ...Thanks for highlighting these important points,.. especially about how the sponsors deem it their business to decide whether a maid can court a man, or god forbid have sex.Chanadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07289587012699300257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9291546.post-1103525849599378902004-12-20T09:57:00.000+03:002004-12-20T09:57:00.000+03:00This is an eternal conflict between the 'Have and ...This is an eternal conflict between the 'Have and Have-nots', 'Masters and Slaves', 'Rich and Poor'... You name them!

Isn't almost every non-white-arsed expatriate treated like a slave in the Arab world?

In my understanding, anyone in Middle East on a work permit is considered to be a SLAVE. Even a pakistani/indian doctor who saves lives of thousands of Bahrainis and others is seen as a Slave by his Sponsor.

Bahrain needs many reforms. The first reform in a democracy has to be labour reforms.

I see BLATANT HYPOCRISY in the cries for more democracy of some people who turn a blind eye towards the shackled expatriate. All these poeple want is not a democratic state, freedom, equality and justice.

Some of these neo-democracy lovers just want a piece of the power cake. They envy the current regime that is not willing to share the reins of power with these wannabe-kings and queens. How many of these neo-dems are genuine people?

It is the Animal Farm revisited in Bahrain. "All animals are equals; but some Animals are more equal than other animals."Adminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14691772949786243438noreply@blogger.com
